About The Event

Learning through experiences, or experiential learning can happen in many ways. If you want your students to achieve a learning outcome through experiential learning, you will be required to design "learning experiences" that may involve cognitive, psychomotor, as well as affective domains. These learning experiences must provide students an opportunity to "reflect" on every aspect of their engagement in the experiences. The achievement of the learning outcome depends on the quality of reflection, thinking, and implied actions that students take as they progress through the learning experiences.

In this episode, we will deliberate on:

  • What skills and knowledge depths are required to implement experiential learning?
  • Is experiential learning more time-consuming than direct instruction?
  • How can learning experiences be integrated with other subjects, arts, or sports?
  • Is it easier to implement experiential learning in the foundational or primary stage as compared to the secondary stage?

If you implement experiential learning in your school, please share your story on the ICSL group EdTales. If you have any questions or comments that you want to share on this topic, please click here.

Please share this event with every educator you know and encourage them to attend.

We can only accommodate 1000 attendees in the live Zoom session. Participants coming late may have to view the program live on our Facebook page:
