About The Event

Lack of participation in sports by girls is an issue that continues to haunt schools across India. Most students develop a sense that sport is an area meant for only those who are good in it. It is observed that Girls treat the period/time allotted for sports either as a free period or to finish the pending work of other academic subjects. Girls (majority) do not take up sports as a way of life or a hobby. In semi-urban and rural schools girls of all age group generally shy away from sports and do not indulge in games at all.

Join the panel of eminent educationists for a deep dive into involving girls in sports and games activities organised by schools.
